Sécateur Bahco PX-M2-L

The Bahco PX-M2-L pruning shears are designed for precise trimming and maintenance of living plants. Featuring a bypass cutting system and a stainless steel blade, these secateurs enable clean cuts that promote healthy regrowth. Weighing 319 g and fitted with ergonomically shaped black and red handles, they balance durability with comfortable handling for extended use in the garden.

Advantages

The bypass cutting mechanism provides smooth, scissor-like cuts that reduce damage to stems and branches. The stainless steel blade maintains sharpness and resists corrosion for reliable performance. At 319 g, the tool combines lightness with adequate build quality, making it easier to control during detailed pruning. Ergonomic handles improve grip and reduce hand fatigue when performing multiple cuts.

Suitable for

• Trimming live branches and stems on shrubs and ornamental plants
• Pruning roses and fruit bushes for maintenance and shaping
• Precision cuts on young shoots and tender growth
• Everyday garden maintenance tasks requiring clean, accurate cuts

Key specifications

• Cutting type: bypass cutting system for scissor-like action
• Blade material: stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance
• Weight: 319 g for lightweight handling
• Handle design: ergonomically shaped black and red handles for improved grip

How to use

Hold the pruning shears with a firm but comfortable grip, positioning the bypass blades around the stem at a slight angle to make a clean, angled cut just above a bud or branch junction. Use short, smooth motions rather than excessive force to avoid crushing the stem. For thicker branches, make several progressive cuts or use an appropriate larger tool to avoid damaging the shears. After use, wipe the blade clean and dry to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For optimal results, keep the stainless steel blade sharp and clean; inspect the handles and moving parts periodically for wear. Use the pruning shears primarily on live plant material within the tool’s cutting capacity and store them in a dry place to preserve blade condition and overall longevity.
