How to use

Position the Kathrein UAS 572 Grey where the best reception is achieved, typically near a window or elevated position inside a room or in a sheltered outdoor location. Secure the antenna according to the chosen mounting method, ensuring connections to the receiver or distribution equipment are firm and weather-protected if applicable. After connection, perform a channel scan on the receiver to store available signals and fine-tune the antenna orientation to maximise reception quality.

Recommendations

For optimal results, start with a temporary placement to test signal strength before final mounting. Keep coaxial cable runs as short as practical, use high-quality connectors and, if installed outdoors, ensure any exposed connections are sealed against moisture. If signal issues persist, try small adjustments to angle and position to locate the direction with strongest reception.
