Enceinte 2 voies AUDAC Ares5A 40 W

The AUDAC Ares5A 2-way Speaker is a wired, two-driver loudspeaker system designed for flexible on-wall or corner installation in commercial and residential spaces. The system combines a 5¼" woofer and a ½" high-frequency tweeter with an integrated stereo amplifier and DSP to deliver clear audio across a frequency range of 80–20,000 Hz. With 40 W RMS power per channel (2 x 40 W total in the active unit), balanced and unbalanced line inputs, tone controls and an auto-standby mode, the Ares5A is suited for background music, paging and small- to medium-sized foreground sound applications.

Advantages

The Ares5A integrates an amplifier and DSP in the active enclosure to provide consistent sound quality and simplified wiring; an included passive speaker links to the active unit for stereo operation. Multiple input options include a 3.5 mm unbalanced jack for consumer sources and a balanced terminal block for long cable runs with reduced interference. The enclosure is built from ABS and features a recessed, low-profile bracket system that enables neat close-to-wall mounting while maintaining a discreet appearance. Additional safety features include an M6 drop-safety point and an auto-standby function to reduce power consumption when no signal is present.

Suitable for

• Background music and ambient sound in retail, hospitality or office spaces
• Paging and public address in small to medium venues
• Audio playback for meeting rooms and training spaces
• Wall- or corner-mounted installations requiring low visual impact

How to use

Place the active and passive units near the intended listening area and mount using the included bracket system. Connect the audio source to the active unit using either the balanced terminal block for long cable runs or the 3.5 mm jack for unbalanced consumer sources. If required, use the RJ45 remote input to connect approved wall panel modules for remote selection and control. Adjust loudness with the front-panel volume potentiometer and shape tonal balance with the two-band tone control for treble and bass. When not in use, the auto-standby feature will reduce power consumption automatically.

Recommendations

For best results, position the speakers to face the listening area and allow unobstructed sound projection. Use the balanced input for installations with long cable runs to minimise interference. If controlling multiple Ares5A sets, use compatible remote wall panels to distribute inputs and control up to four Ares5A sets from one panel.
